Questions about fit, fabrics, ordering or how to wear Frank & Rio? Start here. If you still need help, we're always happy to point you in the right direction.
Sizing & Fit
How do Frank & Rio shirts fit?
Frank & Rio shirts are tailored, not fitted. They're designed specifically for women, with a polished silhouette and room to move.
What size should I order?
Start with your usual size and refer to the size chart on the product page. If you're between sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit, we generally recommend sizing up.
Are Frank & Rio shirts designed for women with a larger bust?
Yes. Our close-set buttons, spaced approximately 1.5 inches apart, are designed to help reduce pulling and gaping through the front.
Why are the sleeves and shirttails longer?
Because we ride. Longer sleeves provide coverage when you reach for the reins, while extended shirttails help your shirt stay tucked through riding, bending and movement.
Shirts & Fabrics
What is Cool Ride™?
Cool Ride™ is our performance fabric with lightweight breathability, moisture-wicking properties and 4-way stretch. Bonus: it doesn't need to be ironed.
Which shirt is best for hot weather?
Cool Ride™. It was designed for warm-weather riding, showing and long days at Western events.
Are all Frank & Rio shirts stretch?
No. Cool Ride™ has 4-way performance stretch, OG Solid Black and White have structured stretch, and Stretch Taffeta styles have stretch with a crisp show-shirt silhouette. Our 100% cotton Core shirts are structured rather than stretch.
Ordering & Returns
Do you offer free shipping?

Can I exchange a shirt if the size isn't right?
Yes. We want you in the right size. Frank & Rio offers one free exchange per order. Some Archive or final-sale items have different terms, so check the individual product page.
How quickly will my order ship?
We aim to process in-stock orders within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
About Frank & Rio
Where are Frank & Rio shirts made?
Our shirts are handcrafted in Texas.
Who is Frank & Rio designed for?
Frank & Rio was born in the performance-horse world, but you don't have to show—or even ride—to wear one. Our shirts are for women who appreciate polished Western style, from the show pen and rodeo to dinner and everyday life.
Why is it called Frank & Rio?
Frank and Rio are the barn names of the horses that brought founders Angie and Amy together. The friendship that began through horses ultimately became Frank & Rio.
Scarves & Accessories
What is the difference between a Twilly and a Wild Rag?
Our Twillys are narrow scarves made for styling at the neck, in your hair, on your wrist or on a handbag. Our current Fringe Wild Rags are larger 35 × 35 inch scarves made from 100% satin silk.
Can I style your scarves with Frank & Rio shirts?
Absolutely. They're an easy way to add color and personality to a Frank & Rio shirt for a horse show, rodeo, dinner or everyday Western outfit.
